OpenClaw Global Unhackathon Handbook

Hack day without the noise.

Welcome to the OpenClaw Global Unhackathon.

Across 24 AI Tinkerers cities worldwide, builders are locking in for five focused hours of shipping code. No stage performance. No prizes. No demo theater.

Just serious builders working side-by-side.

This guide will help you understand the structure, expectations, and how to get the most out of the session.

Goals

  • Ship something real.
  • Set up or harden your OpenClaw infrastructure.
  • Build or debug plugins and components.
  • Unblock something that’s been sitting on your backlog.
  • Trade patterns and implementation insights with other serious builders.

This is not about competition.

It’s about momentum.

What This Is (And What It Isn’t)

This is:

  • A focused, heads-down build session.
  • A curated room of active builders.
  • Working code over slides.
  • Optional demos at the end.

This is not:

  • A pitch event.
  • A sponsor showcase.
  • A panel discussion.
  • A prize-driven hackathon.

No judges.
No awards.
No ceremony.

Just build.

Theme: OpenClaw in the Real World

Your mission is simple: move your OpenClaw build forward.

Some starting directions:

  • Deploy and configure OpenClaw locally or on dedicated hardware.
  • Bring and configure a Mac mini or custom hardware setup.
  • Harden your networking and infra.
  • Develop new plugins, tools, or skills.
  • Debug integrations that have been blocking you.
  • Experiment with new workflows or agent capabilities.

There is no prescribed track.

The only question that matters:
What will you ship today?

Getting Started

Bring:

  • Your laptop
  • Charger
  • Any hardware you plan to configure (if applicable)
  • A concrete build plan

You may:

  • Work solo
  • Form a team organically during the session
  • Help others debug
  • Ask for help when stuck

There is no formal team size requirement.

Projects do not need to be “new ideas.”
They just need to move forward during the session.

Final Thoughts

This isn’t about winning.

It’s about shipping.

Across dozens of cities, builders are locking in at the same time — debugging, deploying, hardening, experimenting.

Five hours.

No noise.

Just code.

See you on February 28.

Let’s build.
